ASPTaskScheduler is an component for use in applications that programmatically want to schedule windows tasks/programs. Askarya's ASPTaskScheduler Component provides automation interface to Windows Task Scheduler service. Windows Task Scheduler allows you to perform automated tasks on a chosen computer and manages all aspects of task scheduling: starting tasks, enumerating currently running tasks, tracking task status, and so on. ASPTaskScheduler component sets whatever criteria you choose and instructs the Task Scheduler service to execute the task when the criteria for executing the task have been met. For example, you can have the computer run a Virus checking program on a remote/local computer at 12:00 A.M. every Sunday.

Web applications developed using Active Server Pages technology can use ASPTaskScheduler component.
